This book follows the USCCB’s framework for “Jesus’ Mission Continues in the Church.” Written by Andrew Willard Jones, it covers a broad range of topics pertaining to Church. The book discusses Church history, and how Christ is still present in His Church today. The visible structures of the Church such as the hierarchy and liturgy are outlined, as well as the Church’s mission in the world and how she calls her members to holiness.

The Formed in Christ series is a solid and faithful resource that provides a thorough treatment of the Catholic faith and the various branches of theology. Teachers may use this series to draw lessons for all core curriculum subjects in the USCCB’s doctrinal framework for high school level theology.
